The Mini.
Sarah and Stephen

Keywords: Woodlands, Laughter, Smiles.
The vision: Sarah and Stephen were after a fun edit of the ceremony highlights and themselves as a couple. They wanted special cameos from their son Theo and two dogs as well!
The Featurette.
Evie and Chadd
Hours Coverage: 7 // Colour // Digital
Keywords: Romantic, Colourful, Lively
The vision: Surrounded by the beautiful green and blue of buckland estate, Evie and Chadd wanted a wedding that had vibrant colour and lively music.
To capture their bubbly personalities I used some quick editing, unconventional overlays and music outside of the normal acoustic/classical realm. On the day, a lot of time was spent with the couple and bridal party to make sure we captured some beautiful light and filmed the laughs and fun this group had together.
Bonnie and Ryan
Hours Coverage: 7 // Colour // Digital
Keywords: Social, DIY, Fun.
The vision: Bonnie and Ryan were adamant about capturing their fun and relaxed personalities with a focus on family and friends.
I made sure to pick songs that aligned with their music taste and used those as a major part of the story. I kept the camera rolling at moments they didn’t expect, and caught some candid fun moments that wouldn’t be normally captured. We stuck to a lot of wides to take in the gorgeous landscape around them and finished it off with warm colours to accentuate the beautiful gold fields around them.
Katelyn and Gareth
Hours Coverage: 8 // Colour, Black and White // Digital
Keywords: Gothic, Rock, Groovy.
The vision: These two weren’t fans of a romantic wedding- this day was all about the party, the grooving and the fun. The featurette needed to match the gothic aesthetic they had envisioned for the day and wanted a film that highlighted what made them unique as a couple.
I decided to make the ceremony a small part of the film and really focus on the cool gothic details, the reception and dancefloor. We used a mix of black and white, colour and selective colour to really accentuate the neon greens. I spent an hour focusing on dance footage, and what came from it was one of the greatest dance sequences of all time, give it a watch!
Rachel and Brad
Hours Coverage: 8 // Colour // Digital
Keywords: Winter, Family, Greyhounds.
The vision: These two were proud parents of their adorable greyhound, and so we travelled to their house to capture some footage of the three at home spending quality time together. Rachel and Brad had a special focus on family, loved ones and connection.
I edited part of the film to feel like nostalgic home footage and had lots of fun adjusting the aspect ratios, the details should flow seemlessly together and chose music and ambience that focused on a feeling of nostalgia.
The Classic.
Jesse and Aimee
Hours Coverage: 10 // Colour, Black and White // Digital
Keywords: European, Bespoke, Vibrant
The vision: Having planned their wedding in Italy, Jesse and Aimee had planned every tiny detail and wanted to make sure it was captured. They chose the venue for its gorgeous pink exterior and greenery. The featurette had to feel candid, authentic, funny and confident in its style.
I had a lot of fun crafting this featurette, and used some crash zooms and hand held for candid moments, mixed with long beautiful wides to capture the breathtaking scenery. I used a mix of classical music and pop to differentiate between the moments of romance and fun, and incorporated black and white and subtle filters to give the footage a whimsical feel.
Clarence and Blake
Hours Coverage: 8 // Colour // Digital
Keywords: Colourful, Up-Beat, Celebratory
The vision: Clarence had planned a vibrant colour palette for this day and wanted her film to be just as colourful, joyous and vibrant. They loved acoustic music similar to American Authors, and wanted footage of their overseas family who had come for their special day.
For this film I focused on the colour, giving a lot of variation at each location we went to, and worked to mix moments of the day together in a non-traditional order to give the feel of a colourful, exciting montage instead of the sequential replay of events.
